Turmeric, Coconut Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, diabetes

Turmeric, Coconut Oil (organic, least filtered - virgin), Apple Cider Vinegar, (raw, or organic 'with the mother' Bragg's is a good brand), endnote on diabetes

Turmeric? It is all around great for the body (anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory.) Turmeric (often found in curry) must be lightly cooked in a fat or oil (coconut oil is highly recommended for it's health benefits - despite the disinformation campaign against it) to activate the Curcumin in the Turmeric. It's an excellent herb to have as often as you can - you can add it to rice to make yellow rice. There are no side effects.
If you eat butter, (please tell me you don't eat margarine) you can melt a stick and mix the turmeric in. (Or subsititute with coconut oil - I can't stress how good this stuff is for you despite the disinformation campaign against it) You can clarify that butter too. Then re-solidify in wax paper in the fridge. Then it's ready to go when you are, and you don't even have to cook it.
You can also lightly cook it in olive oil, cool, store and use on salad.
